Think Pink

Yesterday TJ went with me to my midwife appointment, all the same-ol' same-ol'. We left there and went to get lunch while I chugged 32 ounces of water. We then headed to Drew Medical where I was to get my ultra sound (that's why I had to drink the water). We were not there long, and were called in, she started the ultra sound, and I couldn't tell what it was at first, but then she started showing us different views of the baby, and measuring everything to make sure the baby was normal, and finally she got to the right shot, and said, "looks like it's a girl"... my heart was overflowing with joy, not just because now I know she's a girl, but because I was looking at the baby inside me, and I was overwhelmed with what God was doing, and how meraculous and creative he is, and what a gift he has given us. I guess you could say a little bit of reality hit me. We got out to the car, and we sat there and prayed for a minute, thanking God for this gift, then I started crying, and was overwhelmed with emotion and greatfulness. It was a really neat time that TJ and I got to share.

So glad you got to see baby girl!!! :o) I loved ultrasounds with my other 2. They always made me cry!

The good thing about this pregnancy is that I get to see my babe every week with an ultrasound. Makes it a bit easier! :o)

So happy for you and TJ! Sending up a prayer for you right now! :o)
