German Chocolate Cheese Cake!

So this is the German Chocolate Cheese Cake that I got off of "Bake of Break Recipes" .  I made sure I had all the ingredients then I started this delicious project.  It was fun, and interesting I learned some things, like... never again will I make a cake without lining the bottom with parchment paper, it will never stick to the pan that way, that was absolutely wonderful, I couldn't even count the number of cakes I have turned out, and they ended up falling into pieces.  Also I think it was my first time making a cheese cake, definitly an experience, but it made for a day and a half of making this cake.  Was it well worth it?  Yes... for those who love to bake!
Their are a couple problems, the frosting is so good WARM!  But you have to keep the cake in the fridge because of the cheese cake in it, so that is sort of a bummer, but other than that everything about it was wonderful!  :)

The day's Events.

So... this morning at 5 AM I wake up to the sound of my daughter having a conversation with herself, not only has she broken out of her swaddle, she's kicking off the blanket that covers her bassinet, it was hilarious to see the little foot sticking out of the bassinet.
Later on we went to help my sister in Law, Cherie with this food co-op she helps with.  Yet again Ava gets to hang out with her cousin Levi, they seem to be quite fascinated with each other, she just stares at him, while knawing on the arm that he just threw in her direction.  He stares at her for a time, then flails his arms in excitement hitting her face pretty much every time, this is my kind of entertainment these days.

Lately I have arrived at dinner time, not having any inspiration as to what to make... I have started resorting to cooking sites.  Today we had "Zucchini and Ricotta Galette" from the Smitten Kitchen ,it was so very tasty and I will definitly be making it again!

long time no blog

I'm sorry it has been so long since I have blogged, I have not had the internet access to do so. TJ and I had our second anniversary on October the 11th, we didn't have alot of money, so we took a camping trip... of course it was Ava's first time, lots of mosquito bites, but other than that, very fun!

Ava is 4 and 1/2 months old and has been rolling over every time we put her down. She has been just talking up a storm, she smiles all the time, and laughs quite often, but really makes you work for it, you should see the goof balls she has turned us into.
We have been really involved in our church, and are excited about what God is doing there. Also we are doing the service this coming Sunday, and we will be sharing our missions vision, and letting the church know exactly what we will be doing... I'm excited to finally be able to share our heart with everyone in church.
That's all for now, I'll share again soon!
