My Sunday School Class

This is my Sunday school class of 5 and 6 year olds. We have been learning about Jesus and having fun. We had a break for a few weeks during the Easter holidays so I am happy to have them all back again.

Zululand

We stayed out in a rural area for a night, and it was beautiful. There was no electricity or running water, so you can imagine exactly what it was like. But I enjoyed it... :)

It's getting Chilly

I only brought one sweatshirt to South Africa. Heather and Kyle are making fun of me because I always say I'm not going to be cold, and here I am, Ive been caught... it's just a bit chilly.

Buyi - My friend

This is Buyi from Amangwe, we have been doing a bible study together, so that she can better understand some major biblical truths. She was able to come to church on Sunday, and then she came to our house for lunch. When I took her back into town I asked her if she needed money for a taxi, and she said yes, even though it was R15 to get back, she only had R5 , but she wasn't going to ask me for money. She said she didn't come to church just for me, but to know Jesus. She wouldn't ask for money because she says that she will work to know Jesus if she has to. Keep praying for Buyi, she has a rather refreshing desire for God.

Youth Camp

Last week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I got the privilege of being a counselor at Jr. Youth camp, and there was over 80 Jr. High there. I had 5 girls that were in my room and that I got to counsel, and I got to lead one of those girls to the Lord. She trusted Christ as her savior, and that was really exciting to me. The theme was Supernatural treasure, and I think those few days were really good, and I am pretty sure God touched some of those kid's hearts.
